Musician Esther Akoth Kokeyo aka Akothee, has donated uniforms to kids at her school and also shared maize with their mums in the spirit of Christmas.
Akothee reeling from sickness
Akothee Academy, the school founded by singer Akothee, was officially registered under the Ministry of Education in October.
According to the singer, she started the school to empower the community, and she welcomed Kenyans to walk with her on the journey.

In the Facebook clip, the convalescent Akothee was seen walking around the school compound and finally started pouring tins of maize for the women to carry home.
"Just a token of Christmas for my mothers," read the caption of the live footage.
"People are going through so much and they are all younger than me ," said Akothee who said she was on meds.
Akothee requests netizens to help her buy bus
She later went to another part of the field, where she started giving out brand new uniforms to the primary school pupils.
"I wish I could rest but I have responsibilities on my neck. I am soo sick you have no idea but hey look at me I am not at the beach enjoying life but just putting a smile on some face," she said.
The sponsored children are catered for by none other than Akothee. Some netizens pointed out that while she had given the pupils everything, they still had to walk a long distance to school, and the prolific school head alluded to that fact and said that she had identified one being sold KSh 4 million.

The celebrity said she was saddened by the fact that five-year-olds could not speak in English.

Akothee gives brief tour of her classy academy
In an earlier report, it was shared that Akothee dropped out of school and could not afford to pay fees for her children, but she was determined to be successful.
The circumstances inspired her to return to school and graduate before launching the Akothee Academy.
The philanthropist gave a tour of the institution, that sponsors 30 needy students and employs their mothers.
