Amos Rono and Nelly Chepkoech have been trending for the past week after their wedding was halted at the last minute under unclear circumstances.

Amos was madly in love with Nelly. They dated for six months, and he paid her dowry before going ahead to plan their wedding which was slated for December 9.

Addressing the media, Amos said he loved Nelly and had forgiven her, wishing her well in her next relationship.

"When we started dating, I loved her so much that I brought her to our home, and we built a life together. We shared the little things I had. We were doing well, and there was nothing she was complaining about," he said during the interview.

The soft-spoken, tall, dark, and handsome man, while conversing with Bonfire Adventures CEO Simon Kabu, revealed he still believes in love despite his cancelled wedding.

Amos said he would take a few months before trying his luck in love again.

"I have come back to my senses. Three to four months from now, I will be back in the market to search for my rib, that God has made for me," he said.
