Bungoma - Former Bumula Member of Parliament Bifwoli Wakoli was among thousands of graduates who graduated from Kibabii University.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke after graduation, Bifwoli said he was quite happy to have achieved his academic self-actualisation in life.
"It has not been an easy journey. It is very difficult to attain a PhD degree, but it requires determination and resilience. What I can say is that I want to encourage people to do what someone else can do, so long as they are determined," Bifwoli said.

He also took the opportunity to encourage the youth to embrace education.
"I have graduated with a PhD in religion. Religion means that I have studied all religions. Buddhism, Islam, African religion, Islamic ethics, mystical powers, and all that pertains," Bifwoli added.
What has Bifwoli Wakoli achieved
He disclosed that he is now able to write about and dismantle the African religion, which he observed that Christians see as if it is demonic.
"But from my studies, I can attest that the African religion was inspired by God, just like any other religion," said the veteran politician.
Meanwhile, Bifwoli, who unsuccessfully vied for the Bumula parliamentary seat in the 2022 polls, said that his education has nothing to do with politics.
"It is all about my academics because, when I lost elections, I decided to resort to a quiet life by embracing books," he added.
TUKO.co.ke previously reported that Bifwoli, for the first time, revealed why he refused to join the Raila Odinga-led Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party.
Speaking at a public event in Bungoma county, the veteran politician disclosed that he declined to join the opposition after seeing Raila's allies carrying sufurias on their heads while demonstrating.
"I must say that I almost defected to the opposition. But on my way there, Raila akaniambia niweke sufuria kwa kichwa, nikarudi kifudi fudi, nikasema mwanamme mzima kuweka sufuria kwa kichwa. Hapo ndio mliniweza, watu wa Azimio," said Wakoli.
What's Bifwoli Wakoli's message to William Ruto
The former principal secretary further went on:
"I was coming, but I will not come because siwezi weka sufuria kwa kichwa. Mwanamme kama mimi sufuria mama anapikia alafu niweke kwa kichwa eti chakula ipatikane, hiyo sifanyi."
Wakoli, at the same time, urged President William Ruto's ruling Kenya Kwanza administration to bring down the high cost of living.
"My brother, and with a lot of humility, I want to request that you, hii maneno ya kulazimisha watu kulipa tax ya nyumba, go slow on it. My humble submission is on that one because it is impossible," he said.
He observed that life is becoming difficult for many Kenyans to survive.
