Blogger Emmanuel Kipkirui has shown a keen interest in Nelly Chepkoech, the Bomet bride, whose cancelled wedding has become a hot topic of conversation.

Why Nelly Chepkoech cancelled her wedding

The 23-year-old bride from Bomet county went viral after allegedly cancelling her wedding the last minute. Nelly's fiance, Amos Rono, claimed she told him and the reverend who was to officiate their wedding that she had someone else.

The heartbroken man narrated his side of the story, detailing what transpired a few hours before their wedding.

Addressing the media, Amos clearly stated that he did not want to marry his fiancée, no matter what.

Amos said he had forgiven Nelly for their cancelled their wedding but did not want anything to do with her. Amos wished Nelly the best in life.

"Nimemwacha aende afuzu maishani mwake ama atafute bwana mwengine roho safi. Kama alikuwa amesema bila kujua namsamehe na akikuja tena kusema atarudi ama nini, nimemwacha roho safi (I have let her go and succeed in life or find another spouse. If she said it unknowingly, I forgive her. If she wants to come back, I don't want. I have let her go with a pure heart)," said Amos. The humble man praised Nelly's father for being supportive of their relationship.

Kipkirui penned a sweet message to Nelly, promising to take care of her if she agreed to marry her. he said he was broke, boasting about his prowess in bed.

"Dear Chepkoech Nelly, .

I love you. I'm a broke Boy from Potana, Kericho county. Despite all the trolling, I still love you.

I admired your curves, your thick skin to social media vawulence more so Facebook yesterday. Everything in you lights up my whole life. Leave alone the English and Kiswahili. Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Kipkirui said he was ready to marry Nelly and pay dowry.

"I will pay three cows and KSh 50,000. That is enough for us Kalenjins," he said.

The blogger said he would love Nelly forever, no matter what. Asked what he could have done if he were in Amos's shoes, he said:

"I could have given her more time."
