Mumia East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has lauded a Kenyan living in Kigali, Rwanda, for giving him a snack and juice.

Salasya, who is participating in the ongoing EALA interparliamentary games in Rwanda, claimed the government had failed to pay for their hotel meals.

The first-term lawmaker thanked a man identified as Rotich from Bomet county, who is currently working in Kigali, for giving him mandazi and juice.

"Because they don't want to pay for our hotels and food, my friend Rotich working here in Kigali but Kenyan from Bomet who follows my politics and likes let his work to be bringing me maandazi and juice, as there is no otherwise. It's now getting serious washing utensils will be a must," Salasya said
