"Ever since I was little, I always had the dream of joining Kapsabet. To the principal of Kapsabet boys, please grant me a chance to come study in your school. I will not let you down, and I will be a great asset to the school. It is my prayer that you can heed my prayer so that I can join that prestigious boys' school," he said.

He cited prominent individuals such as President William Ruto, who attended Kapsabet and went on to become very successful in their lives and an inspiration to him.

"It is really my humble request that I join the school because I know I will maintain my good results. It is the finest school in the heart of Nandi," he pleaded.

Nandi Governor Stephen Sang has since promised to help Ian join his dream school.

"I am the governor of Nandi, and I will make sure you join Kapsabet," he said.
