Comedian Eric Omondi has expressed gratitude to well-wishers for donating over KSh 630,000 in aid of Valary Adhiambo.
How did Eric Omondi help school girl?
Adhiambo, a Form Three girl from Muhoroni, needed a prosthetic limb after her leg was amputated due to cancer.
Expressing his appreciation, Omondi revealed that a hospital, Cure Kenya, had offered to donate a free limb to Adhiambo.

Omondi said the money will now go towards funding Adhiambo's chemotherapy, scans, recovery, school fees and fund her mother's business. The comedian then shared a video of Adhiambo, who he flew to Nairobi for the procedure, arriving at the hospital in the company of her kin to take measurements for the prosthetic.
The prosthetic, he said, will be ready in a few days.
The video ends with him handing the money in cash, to Adhiambo and her family.
According to Omondi, the hospital's grand gesture was in large part due to the goodwill of Daddy Owen.
"They did the measurements today and her leg will be ready in a few days. This means that the money raised Valary will use for her scans, chemo and recovery as well as school fees. The mother can also open a business and support Val and the family. God is happy. Thank you," Omondi captioned the video.
The good deed by the two veteran celebrities did not go unnoticed and was heralded by Kenyans on social media.
@Mdio_254:
"Eric, you have blessed many people. I am also trying to figure out how we can come through for you."
@Djkayke_:
"This is so touching; cancer is no joke. I can't imagine the pain this young and beautiful soul is going through."
@haronjuma032:
"Love with actions. May God keep that spirit in you all days."
How did Eric Omondi help Alpha Mtule?
This past December, Omondi rushed to the rescue of ailing gospel artiste Alpha Mwana Mtule.
This is after the philanthropist learnt that Mtule was hospitalized and his bill accrued a medical bill of KSh450,000.
Omondi appealed to his fans on social media to help clear the bill and free the singer.
His fans responded in kind and donated KSh370,000 in less than 10 hours.
