One of TikTok's most famous waiters, Clinton, aka The Celebrity Waiter, opened up after a customer pulled a prank on him.
How the famous waiter was pranked
CJ's famous waiter is one of the most beloved creators on the Kenyan TikTok space. He loves what he does and lets the rest fall into place.
A video of a Kenyan lady pranking him went viral on the app, eliciting mixed reactions from netizens online.

In the clip, the woman pretended that she did not have money to pay the bill after drinking a cocktail.
She told the waiter that she had dropped money from her wallet accidentally, and The Celebrity Waiter was all too willing to help her pay for it.
He even asked her if she had fare to go back to him.
"Do you even have fare to go back home? I can help you pay for this. I will pay for you. It is not a burden. Helping is not a burden. I have made some tips. It will come back. Consider it a treat."
The lady then revealed that it was a prank.
How he felt about the prank
TUKO.co.ke reached out to the waiter and asked him how he felt about the prank. He noted that he was a tad bit disappointed.
"I wasn't quite sure how to react when I knew it was a prank because I was genuinely going to help... felt a little bit disappointed. I felt that I needed to help because that was what was instilled in me ever since I was young. one of my primary school teachers always said, 'never tire of doing good.'"
The waiter disclosed that he had been in such situations countless times, and he once did a Fuliza for a customer.
"I have been in this kind of situation countless times. Most times I afford to buy a guest water if that's what he/she really wants. There was a time I had no cash and one of them really had no extra cash left I just had to fuliza, but anything I give out always comes back double."
Robot waiter angry after customer blocks its way
Separately, a video of a robot waiter getting upset with a customer in a restaurant went viral on social media.
The video showed a woman standing in the way of the robot waiter, and the robot told her:
“Don’t block my way please, I have to work otherwise, I’ll be fired”.
The page captioned the video as: “Artificial Intelligence Waitress Bot Gets very Upset.”
