"Nobody came to my graduation, but despite that challenge, I'll never be set back in any way," he told TUKO.co.ke

Expressing his gratitude, Oyugi acknowledged the support he received from Prof. Wanjiku Chiuri of Laikipia University, who covered his graduation fees after discovering his story on TUKO News.

He also thanked Mr. Watulo for conducting the interview that brought his inspiring narrative to light.

Oyugi is now reaching out to high schools with vacancies in biology and chemistry, urging them to provide him with an opportunity to teach.

His contact number (0792008605) is open for schools interested in offering him a chance to make a difference in students' lives.

Beyond teaching, Oyugi envisions writing a book about his journey, with hopes of it becoming a set book in Kenyan secondary schools.

"I hope to publish a book in future so that my book can be used as a set book in sec schools in future, I will also vie for a teachers representative position in future not to allow anybody to play with teachers during my tenure," he said.

He also aspires to vie for the position of teachers' representative in Kenya, emphasizing his commitment to advocating for teachers' rights.

Oyugi's graduation day was a solitary affair, with no attendees to share the moment.

Undeterred by the absence of well-wishers, he remains focused on his goals and is determined to use his unique experiences to inspire others facing similar challenges.
