"Kulikua na maneno imetokea Nelly alisema tumpee time jaauu hakua ready to take on the roles of being a wife. Tukianza na Nelly nilimpenda sana hadi nikamleta kwetu tukafanya koito. Tulipeana vitu kidogo nilikua nayo. Tukaendelea vizuri tu na hakuna kitu alikua anasema (There were some issues that arose. Nelly said we should give her time; she wasn't ready to take on the responsibilities of being a wife. When we started dating, I loved her so much that I brought her to our home, and we built a life together. We shared the little things I had. We were doing well, and there was nothing she was complaining about)," he said.
He continued:
"So for there were things she was hiding, and she was not saying them. We went for koito (traditional wedding), show up to her church and my church. Until Thursday, the last minute when were in Bomet she wrote a message. She wrote to the Reverend, and he called us on Friday. I did not know anything. We had planned everything. So on Friday, they called us and told us she had someone else, and that is how the wedding was cancelled. We had planned thinking everything was okay."
