His solo songs were Time Has Proven, Look And You Shook, and System Dropout.

His collaborations were Tribulation, featuring Akae Beka, and Ghetto Youth Crusification, featuring Avai Ghetto Massaya.

However, Matara's musical career seems to have faded away, as he turned to a life of crime and deception.

Is John Matara a murderer?

According to various reports, Matara was a serial conman who preyed on unsuspecting women on online dating sites.

He would lure them into meeting him, then rob, assault, or blackmail them.

Matara's latest victim was Starlet, a rising socialite and the sister of preacher Pastor Victor Kanyari.

Wahu and Matara had checked into an Airbnb apartment in South B for a night of fun.

However, things turned tragic, as Matara allegedly attacked and stabbed Wahu, then fled the scene.

Wahu's body was discovered the next morning by the owner of the apartment, who alerted the police.

The police traced Matara to Mbagathi County Hospital, where he had gone for treatment.

He claimed that Wahu had attacked him first, leading to a fight that resulted in her death.

Matara is currently in custody at the Industrial Area Remand Prison, awaiting trial.

Matara led lavish, secretive lifestyle

In an earlier story, a former neighbour at KM Estate claimed the suspect led a lavish but secretive life and was famed for exchanging women.

The source told TUKO.co.ke that despite several reports made at different police stations, Matara would always find his way out.

Neighbours ganged up and forced the landlord to evict him after cases of violence against the women he brought home became unbearable.
