Wahu and Matara fought, and he allegedly stabbed her to death.

The 26-year-old, who was known for her flashy lifestyle, was laid to rest two days after her death in Kamilu at her parents' house.

Starlet Wahu's brother's message

Wahu was the only sister in a family of four. Her brothers, Kanyari and Jackson, are both pastors, and Julius a businessman.

Pastor Jackson Waweru shared a post for the first time on TikTok after his sister's death.

The controversial preacher was working on a door sign and accompanied the video with the Sina Raha hitmaker's song, Hata Kwetu Wapo, talking about judgmental people.

The song is basically meant for critics who judge other people.

Below is an extract of the song:

"Wenye machungu na mabaya sio kwenu tu, ata kwetu wapo
Wapenda ngono na wachawi sio kwenu tu, hata kwetu wapo
Ukichukia sishangai, peace and love
Mi najua binadamu ndivyo tulivyo
Ukichukia sishangai, peace and love"

Wahu has been judged harshly online after her death, but her family chose to stand with her.

Kanyari speaks following sister's death

A day ago, TUKO.co.ke reported that Salvation Healing Ministry lead Pastor Victor Kanyari called out individuals blaming his slain sister, Wahu's, lifestyle and linking it to her brutal killing.

In a candid conversation with his congregants, Kanyari said that his sister's death was a heavy blow to his family, especially their mother, Prophetess Lucy Nduta, and called on Kenyans on social media to stop judging the dead harshly.

"My sister was single, and there was nothing wrong with her looking for a man like any other person would look for love. She met with him on social media, and they fell in love. We see that there were HIV test kits in the room, which means she did not trust the man," he said in part.

He added:

"There were also bottles of alcohol in the room, which means they also drank. There is nothing wrong with her drinking because she was not a born-again Christian. It is me who is born again, not her. It would make sense to raise concern if it was me who was caught drinking because I am a pastor, but my sister was not born again."
