Nairobi - John Matata would be making headlines with a considerable payout were all of his predictions on a Sportpesa weekly Mega Jackpot correct.
He predicted 16 football matches correctly out of the total 17.
Matata, however, bagged a couple of million from his 16 correct predictions.
The man based in Kawangware said he had strived for years to win big on Sportpesa until his recent play.

Sportpesa lined a motorcade from its Nairobi offices to Matata's Kawangware home to pick him up for his goodies.
Matata is among the gamblers who won good monies with Sportpesa a span of weeks apart.
KSh 27m Sportpesa jackpot won
In November, Thika town-based businessman Esbon Maina, who owns a hardware shop, rightly predicted all 13 matches on the midweek jackpot to win over KSh 27 million.
"We have a winner! SportPesa is proud to announce Kshs. 27,041,645 Midweek Jackpot has been won," announced the betting firm.
SportPesa treated Macharia to a presidential-like motorcade and security precision while unveiling him on Tuesday, November 28.
He was picked up from his shop in Thika and driven to Nairobi, where he was handed his goodies.
Macharia, aboard a Sportpesa vehicle, was sandwiched between police outriders, connoting security accorded to an elite person.
The man said he would use the money to stock his shop as well as undertake other projects.
This came months after the gaming firm unveiled another midweek jackpot.
Kisii man wins SportPesa's KSh 24.6m
Seth Mokua, a native of Kisii county, was unveiled as the winner of SportPesa's mid-week jackpot in September.
KSh 24.6 million was up for grabs for correct predictions of the 13 football matches.
The bonanza was played between August 30 and 31.

He was given a kingly treatment, which included being chauffeured in a limousine sandwiched in a motorcade akin to a presidential escort.
