During an interview with Mkenya Marekani, Mary Wanjiku passionately advised Kenyans seeking opportunities in the United States to disregard negative counsel regarding nursing jobs.

Wanjiku urged potential immigrants to experience life in the US firsthand before forming opinions based on others' advice. Expressing frustration with the discouraging messages circulating in Kenya, Wanjiku stated,

"It is not right what people are being told. Stop being influenced by those who haven't experienced life in America. Come first, experience it for yourself."

Currently enrolled in college pursuing a nursing degree, Wanjiku highlighted the promising prospects in the healthcare sector, particularly in nursing.

"I just enrolled in college to become an LPN. I'll be an LPN very soon, God willing, after a year or something," she shared enthusiastically.

Wanjiku encouraged others to embrace the opportunities in the US, emphasizing the need for accurate information.

"Let's provide the right information to those coming to the US. This place has a lot of opportunities. We may not all fit in healthcare, but we all have different talents," she remarked.

Concluding her interview, Wanjiku extended a heartfelt prayer for unity and support among the Kenyan community in the US.

"We pray that we love one another and help one another," she said, underscoring the importance of community collaboration.
