Politician Millicent Omanga has expressed gratitude and joy after emerging as Google's most-searched local personality in 2023.
The former nominated senator beat other prominent figures, such as Pastor Ezekiel Odero, DJ Fatxo, and Chief Justice Martha Koome, to clinch the top spot.
Who are the most searched local personalities on Google?
According to Google Trends, Omanga was Kenyan's most popular search term in 2023, followed by Odero, who leads the New Life and Prayer Center and Church.

The third place went to Lawrence Njuguna Wagura, also known as DJ Fatxo, a famous Mugithi singer and entertainer.
Georgina Njenga, a renowned fashion designer and entrepreneur, came in fourth.
The list also featured other notable personalities such as Pastor Mackenzie, who is known for his controversial prophecies and miracles, Faith Kipyegon, who won a gold medal in the 1500m race at the Tokyo Olympics, Fred Matiang'i, who was the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government, Wafula Chebukati, who was the chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, Martha Koome, who is the first female Chief Justice of Kenya, and Madhe wa Ngara.
Omanga's message to fans
Omanga took to Facebook to celebrate her achievement and thank her fans for their love and support.
She wrote:
"This love of me and you I have entirely agreed. I love you more (sic)." She also shared a screenshot of the Google Trends report and added, "Thank you for making me number one. God bless you all."
Omanga's cryptic message to wrongdoers
Previously, the politician shared a cryptic post warning wrongdoers of karma.
Omanga shared her cryptic post via her Twitter account, warning them that nothing wrong goes down under the sun without repercussion.
"Karma says, when you destroy someone's life with lies, take it as a loan. It will come back to you with interest," she wrote.
