Njeri launched her foundation, Woman of Courage, on Friday, December 15, and her speech left guests in tears.

While reading her speech, the mother of four thanked everyone who attended her event, among them, her mother-in-law. Njeri showered her mother with love, thanking her for welcoming her to her home. She described her as a great woman.

"I want to thank my mother-in-love. She is my mum, and we are very close," Njeri said as she wept.

"Thank you for loving me and strengthening me. Since I came to your home. You have always told me I am your firstborn, and you have always treated me as such. You even told me that when you are no longer with us, you will entrust me with your family. May God give you more days so that I can see you more," she said before bursting into tears, and her mother-in-law started crying too.

Muigai wa Njoroge's speech at 1st wife's wedding cause a stir

Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that the controversial gospel musician, when given a chance to speak at Njeri's Woman of Courage Foundation launch, decided to talk about his polygamous marriage.

The polygamous singer applauded Njeri for allowing him to marry a second wife, whom he always pampers with love.

"You always make me happy because when I told you I wanted another wife, you didn't oppose it. You told me your mother is also a second wife, and I brought Stacy home. You accepted her as my wife because if you opposed her and I had accepted her, nothing could have changed. Thanks for accepting her," he said.
