He then poured the notes on the floor as he shared that he was saving KSh 1000 daily for the whole year.
"2023 ndio tunafungua savings. Tulisema last year tufungua pamoja tuanze savings wote. Sasa ndio hizi, nilijaribu challenge ya 1000 kila siku, nimefikisha KSh 365,000, (We are opening our 2023 savings. We said last year that we start together, and here we are. I tried the KSh 1000 daily challenge, now I have KSh 365,000)," he said.
He then took all the amounts inside the house where his lover, Ruth and his relative were sitting, and he asked them to count the amount saved.
At some point, they complained that it was too much because there were KSh 1000 notes and others like KSh 50 notes.
