Speaking at the event, the deputy president expressed his delight at having more women than men attending, adding that any event without a female presence should be avoided.

"If you find an occasion of 5000 people without a single woman, that is not a place where you should be. So I want to thank you, Samidoh, because your function is full of women," he said.
"They are even more than us. This is a very dignified sitting of serious people," he added.

Samidoh's foundation launch was a success, having been graced by the who is who in Kenya including celebrities such as Terrence Creative and his wife Milly Chebby.
