A chilling video showing the moment that a speeding motorist crashed into the rear of a car along Waiyaki Way has emerged on social media and sparked a myriad of reactions.
The video, which is now circulating widely, captured the moment when the driver of the red Mazda hit another car and drove off unbothered.
Despite his car being damaged extensively and seemingly at fault for the accident, the motorist did not care to stop to sort out the matter.
The eyewitness said that the motorist allegedly sped off in his damaged car after hurling insults.

"Before he fled the scene, he threw some arrogant insults," the victim said.
Victim of accident speaks
Taking to Twitter, he said the accident happened at the 87 junction along Waiyaki Way.
"This guy just hit me along Waiyaki Way at 87 and took off. The car registration number is KCU 231T," he said.
It also emerged that the motorist later abandoned the vehicle and also fled. The police later picked up the car.
"The guy was not anywhere around; he left it there. The police came and picked it up around 7pm yesterday," a Kenyan said.
Motorist drives in reverse along busy highway
Elsewhere, a video of a Naivasha motorist driving in reverse gear on a busy highway also emerged on social media and caused an uproar.
The shocking video showed the vehicle's driver moving it in reverse mode, seemingly oblivious to the danger he posed to other road users on the busy highway in Naivasha.
The clip was posted by @Maliks, who said he was shocked that no police seemed bothered by the motorist using the highway in such a dangerous manner.
"Someone drove in reverse after the other gears failed to Naivasha in a highway. No cop said anything," the Twitter user said.
