Content creator Pritty Vishy has criticised Tanzanian singer Christina Shusho's concert lineup.

Shusho is expected to have a crossover concert on December 31st.

She disclosed that she would collaborate with comedian Churchill, aka Daniel Ndambuki, and other artists to entertain Kenyans during the show.

The lineup comprises Shusho, Churchill, Ugandan comedian Salvado, comediennes Nasra and Mammito, and singers Kinoti and Ethan Muziki.

Vishy quickly pointed out that most performers on the list were comics, saying Kenyans are expecting a music concert and not a comedy show.

She added that the 'Shusha Nyavu' hitmaker was doing herself and her fans an injustice by agreeing to such a lineup.

“This is just my view of Shusho coming thing…Sasa wakenya wamelia wanataka Shusho then mwito ikakubaliwa…tell me why anakuja Churchill it’s not bad but yooh Kenyans wanted concert si kuchekeshwa then waimbiwe 10 minutes…NKT on behalf ya wenye ilikuwa ata twende tumeshangaa sana,” she wrote.

Churchill responds to the show's critics

Since then, in response to Vishy and other Kenyans who shared her sentiments, Churchill asked fans to share their opinions on the New Year's Eve show.

"Ati umesema unataka nini 31st?" he asked on his Instagram page.

Kenyans responded with their demands, most echoing Vishy's statement.

Shusho criticised for using scripture in songs

Recently, Shusho made headlines when critics accused her of copying scripture in her lyrics, saying she lacked originality and creativity.

They argued that she should write her own words and not rely on the Bible for inspiration.

They also said that she was misusing the word of God for her benefit.

However, her fans defended her, saying there is nothing wrong with using scripture in her lyrics as long as she acknowledges the source and gives credit to God.

They said she was not copying but quoting the Bible, a common practice among many gospel singers and preachers.

They also said she spread the gospel and edified the listeners with her songs.
