A wife has disclosed that she is hurt after her husband confessed to something he's kept secret for over a decade.
The Mirror reports that the wife took to social media to reveal that, for the last 15 years, her husband has been eating leftovers for lunch without complaining.
In a post on DC Urban Moms and Dads, the woman indicated that her husband had never mentioned he disliked the food.
He not only pulls them from the fridge to eat when he's home and hungry but also packs them for himself for lunch on days he goes to the office.

"Why, after all this time, would he tell me this now?" the woman questioned, adding that her other half's confession left her heartbroken.
During a conversation with their daughter, the man spoke about his displeasure with leftovers.
Confessed after 15 years
The woman says the confession came about when their daughter was served a massive plate of food and didn't eat it.
She, therefore, mentioned that there was no problem as she could use those for leftovers for her dad's lunch the following day.
At that point, the man expressed how unhappy he had been with his lunches for the 15 years she'd served him.
"I’m laughing because it’s so bizarre. Why would he suddenly proclaim this?" she asked.
Wife confused by confession
According to one of the commenters, the man ate the leftovers because it was a better option than going hungry.
"I know this, he knows this. But I don’t get why; since there are always multiple other options for things to make, he will 9/10 grab the leftovers," the woman replied.
She wondered what would happen to her husband going forward since the house would no longer have leftovers.
Another social media defended the man, adding that very few things taste well after being in the fridge for a day and that people only eat them because it's easier than cooking afresh.
Man says he enjoys house chores
Meanwhile, Mwangi Ndiritu and his wife, Elizabeth Nyanjiru, met in high school, became sweethearts, and married in 2020.
As it happened, Elizabeth got a higher-paying job with a more demanding schedule, forcing Mwangi to take a backseat and play a supporting role.
One of the most notable things is doing all the household chores, including washing her work clothes, to allow her time to rest.
