The lady said she was planning to dump the good-looking man because he had refused to quit smoking, a habit she detests.
"First date I paid because he didn’t have a credit or debit card. Turns out he’s an artist who sometimes drives for Uber. This wasn’t a dealbreaker at first but then it comes out that he also lives with his parents and is a smoker in the process of quitting. Second date he paid…with a gift card his mom gave him. He kissed me and is definitely still smoking. I feel bad because he is very sweet, but I’m not taking on a 'project' guy," she shared on Reddit.com.

"Way too long, and you don’t have any intention of being friends with him. Just say “thank you for a nice time, but I don't think we're compatible. Take care."

"After two dates...sounds like he may be love bombing. I would take his intensity with a grain of salt and be more general and short with your response."

"Yeah, he def has maturity issues. And it's not a good fit for you since you're financially stable and he sounds both unstable and needy. As a guy, I would never go out with a woman on a first date if I couldn't pay for the date. That is the one and only red flag you need. He'll find someone, but it's not you."

"I like what you wrote. I would personally cut out the friendship offer because he is clearly interested in you."

"Sounds like he’s going to be a stage 5 clinger. Way too intense after just two dates."

"Two dates needs a breakup text?"

"I agree. Don’t ghost but just say it was nice getting to know you but I’m not feeling the romantic chemistry. Wish you the best!"
