The lady said her boyfriend agreed with them and said she was not his type, but he liked her because she was nice and he did not have to worry about her cheating on him or leaving him.
The woman felt crushed and humiliated by his words and did not know what to do.
"My bf told his friends that I am not attractive. So long story short I have been dating this guy for nine months now and I recently saw him with his friends. I actually listened to their conversation and they were at one point talking about me, and it seemed like his friends didn't even know we were dating.
Worse they called me unattractive and my boyfriend agreed with them and said I was not his type, but I am nice, and he knows he won't have to worry about me cheating or leaving etc since he is so much better looking than me... I don't know what to do," she wrote.
Lady laments about boyfriend rolling his eyes towards her
Separately, a lady expressed disappointment in her boyfriend, saying she does not like his behaviour.
The lady said they had been on six dates, and she was already losing interest in the man.
Taking to Reddit.com, she lamented about her man's behaviour, asking for advice.
"I was telling him a story about a coworker (a weird man at my job who flirts with everyone and lies constantly), and then he very clearly rolled his eyes at me; it wasn't even short; it was a longer eye roll. I felt disrespected and felt like I was annoying, so I asked him, am I boring you? Cause you seem annoyed, and he was like, no, of course not. I'm a pretty sensitive person, but I also know rolling your eyes at someone is a sign of disrespect, and now I feel a sense of unrest like this guy is being fake," she said.
