Woman Who Fell Out With Mother-In-Law 6 Years Ago Refuses Hubby's Call To Reconcile

• A woman narrated how her mother-in-law, whom she last spoke to six years ago, is ruining her marriage
• According to her, they fell out when she spanked her kids and, upon asking her, got angry and blew things out of proportion
• Now, her husband has ordered that they patch things and vowed never to forgive her if his mum dies without things being okay between them

An American woman has lamented after her hubby forced her to patch things up with his mum after years of not talking to each other.

According to the unidentified lady, she has been married for 25 years, but her mother-in-law is now making her marriage problematic.

Woman accuses husband's mum for ruining marriage

Her story was reported in the New York Post, where she also admitted she fell out with her husband's mother after she reprimanded her kids.

"Right now, our marriage is in trouble because I have been ordered to rekindle a relationship with his mother, whom I haven’t spoken to in six years. In my opinion, the woman is toxic. For 17 years, she has essentially stabbed me in the back. At my husband’s request, I forgave her each time. I love him, but I have come to realise he always takes her side. In his eyes, she can do no wrong," she said.

The frustrated woman added that her mother-in-law spanking her kids made things worse, which resulted in an intervention.

"I asked to meet in a neutral location to discuss it, but she and my husband’s stepfather refused. To resolve the situation, I agreed to meet at their home under one condition: If an argument began, my husband and I would leave. We even drove there separately. Upon our arrival, my father-in-law began screaming at me, so I left, and I’ve had no contact with my in-laws since. My husband says if his mother goes to her grave without this issue being resolved, he’ll never forgive me," she further said.

She has admitted she has done nothing wrong to the woman and that she has no intention of rekindling her relationship with her.

According to her, the main problem currently is that her mother-in-law has put ideas into her kids' heads that they now look at her as if she is crazy and needs help.

Elsewhere, a woman took to social media to seek advice over a misunderstanding with her husband's mother.

The lady said that her mother-in-law always communicates with her son, makes decisions and then informs her as an afterthought.

The lady ranted that her mother-in-law and her son always make plans without involving her and explained how angry she was when she visited without her being informed.
