Team ASOBI has knocked it out of the park by making a delightful platformer sequel, Astro Bot (review). I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my playthrough, and I can’t stop recommending it to every gamer I meet. As you begin your adventurous journey as the robotic hero, you must be curious about how long it will take you to beat Astro Bot on PS5. Keep reading to learn just that.
Astro Bot Game Length
Earlier in an interview, the game’s creative director, Nicolas Doucet, remarked that it would take around 12-15 hours to wrap up the game. As expected, he was right on the money. I was also able to complete my first playthrough of Astro Bot’s main story in 12 hours. However, if you prefer to unlock some of the hidden secrets in the game, it could take a little longer, under 15 hours.
If you are a platinum trophy hunter like me, it should take around 15-20 hours to finish a completionist run. Keep in mind that if you prefer to explore everything organically, your playtime might get extended further. However, there is a helpful mechanic that can guide you to find all the collectibles, which can also reduce the time.
Here is the complete list of times taken to beat Astro Bot:
Story Type | Time to Beat |
---|---|
Main Story | 10-12 hours |
Main Story + Sides | 12-15 hours |
Completionist | 15-20 hours |
You can experience your 3D platforming journey without getting tired, as the game has a perfectly adequate playtime. That said, how long do you think it will take for you to make your way through the platforms to the finish line? Let us know in the comments below.
