Even though we’re only in the beta period of Black Ops 6, a few guns are already making their way up the meta. These tools offer the most versatile abilities, making matches feel almost too easy. So, if you want to reign supreme, here are the best weapons to use in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta.
Exploring the Best Weapons in Black Ops 6 Beta
The Black Ops 6 Open Beta features 14 unique weapons in its Gunsmith collection. After comparing each of them, we'll break down the best Black Ops 6 beta weapons. The right choice of weapon can significantly influence your gameplay, enhancing your chances of securing victories in various match scenarios.
Jackal PDW: A Game-Changer
If you’ve been playing the Black Ops 6 beta, you’ll likely have heard about the Jackal PDW SMG. Everything about this gun just feels OP, from its smooth mobility to its easy handling. With the right loadout, damage rates can also be devastating, especially with close-range shots.
After spending a lot of time with it, it’s become my favorite gun in the Black Ops 6 beta, among many other players. It could even be considered the best weapon, but that may change with the upcoming Weekend Two.
XM4: The Versatile Assault Rifle
Despite being a starter weapon, the XM4 Assault Rifle continues to prove its worth, no matter your level. Thanks to its outstanding accuracy stats, the gun makes it easy to target enemies from close to mid-ranges. It goes perfectly with the beta’s relatively small-scale map sizes, including Derelict and Skyline.
The mobility on the XM4 can also make it feel like an SMG. Though it’s less flexible than the Jackal PDW, it’ll still get you around the map with ease.
SWAT 5.56: Power and Precision
If you’re looking for something with more firepower, the SWAT 5.56 Marksman Rifle will definitely be up your alley. The gun excels in damage and accuracy, making it versatile for close and long-range battles. To boost its performance further, you can change the fire mode to land single-shot bullets, which is great for headshots, getting you more instant kills.
C9: A Reliable SMG
Since the Jackal PDW doesn’t unlock until Level 10, you can opt for the next best thing with the C9 SMG. It was one of the first weapons that got me through the early stages, and it’s even proven valuable at higher levels. The C9 is well-balanced in all categories, including firepower, accuracy, handling, and mobility.
Ames 85: The High-Accuracy Assault Rifle
When reaching the max level cap in Black Ops 6 beta, you’ll unlock the Ames 85, an Assault Rifle that provides one of the best accuracies in the game. I’ve gotten plenty of longshot kills using this bad boy while also getting close-range eliminations with surprise attacks. Given that it’s an Assault Rifle, it can be challenging regarding handling and mobility. Regardless, I have had little difficulty moving around with the Ames 85 in hand.
Considering that this is only Weekend One of the Black Ops 6 beta, the list will likely change over time. So, once more guns arrive, I’ll be sure to update this guide to spotlight the best weapons in BO6.
