The release date for NBA 2K25‘s Season 2 has been announced, and less than 48 hours are left for you to unlock all the new rewards in MyTeam and MyCareer.
The developers have also announced some of the key rewards as part of the Courtside report, which is now live. Like past seasons, Season 2 will have dedicated rewards for you to unlock. Let’s take a look at what’s waiting for you as part of the upcoming season.
NBA 2K25 Season 2 release date
Season 2 goes live on Friday, October 18, after the expiry of the first season. If you’re yet to unlock all Season 1 rewards, make sure to earn as much XP as possible to maximize your rewards.

You’ll be able to earn even more rewards in Season 2 to expand your MyPlayer collection. This includes plenty of cosmetic items that can be unlocked from the Season Pass. While we will have to wait for the season to be live for the full rewards, here’s a glimpse of some of the highlight items.

If you choose to invest in the Pro Upgrade, you’ll end up with a 94-rated Diamond Karl-Anthony Towns to improve your squad, along with extra VC to help your grind. As usual, the Pro upgrade will net you a total of 40 additional rewards, apart from all the items that you’ll get from the Season Pass.
