Lush Caves were officially added to Minecraft in the 1.18 Caves & Cliffs Update. Lush Platforms

The start of this Lush Cave contains multiple platforms for players to move between with waterfalls leading from the higher platforms to the ones below. You'll find small ponds with only tropical fish, larger bowls of water holding Axolotls, and mossy patches with flowering Azaleas. The Lush Cave continues for many blocks beyond this first section. It drops down to deepslate, lighting up the cave with glowberries and eventually reaching a Dripstone Cave.

Lush Cave to Ancient City

Be wary of the entrance to this Lush Cave as it is surrounded with Powdered Snow blocks. If you can avoid sinking into them, you'll be brought directly into the Lush Cave. Bedrock players who travel through this Lush Cave into the Deepslate layers will find an Ancient City.

A large lake of lava serves as the center of this Lush Cave. The biome is on the first and second layers of the cave, looming over the lake on the third layer. Both the lava and the Lush Cave make this cave more lit up than a regular cave would be. This makes it easy to see monsters and diamonds while exploring.

Lush Skeletons

Mob Spawners serve as great ways to gather experience and certain mob drops for players who may not want to build their own mob farms. If you want a break from the lush green scenery, visit the other side of the cave to find a patch of Deep Dark biome. You'll also find an amethyst geode in an upper level of the cave.

Lush Dark Forest

The Dark Forest's deeper colors contrast nicely with the brighter greens and blues of the Lush Cave hidden within it. All players will find an Axolotl-filled waterfall within the cave, but only Java players will get the oak mineshaft. It gives them a quick route into deeper sections of the cave that Bedrock players must work harder to find.

Lush Dripstone Corridor

Dripstone and Lush Caves are the two most common cave biomes in Minecraft. At first glance, the cave in this seed is a massive Dripstone wonder. Hundreds of Stalagmites and Stalactites fill the cave, making wandering carelessly dangerous. However, if you look around after entering the cave you'll see the start of a Lush Cave in one small area. Head toward it to find a large tunnel of Lush Cave complete with glow berries, moss, and all.

This Lush Cave comes in a series of chambers rather than one large cave. Follow the different pathways to uncover new areas and lush resources to gather. If you want to try your hand at underground living, turn each chamber into its own room. Some can be turned into farms, others into chest rooms, enchanting rooms, and anything else you may need.

Lush Mushroom Forest

The entrance to this Lush Cave is only about 50 blocks from Spawn, making it super easy to find and enter. Java players will find part of a mineshaft at the start of the cave. While Bedrock players do not have the same fortune, they luckily have a Woodland Mansion! The Lush Cave itself has a small ravine within it as well as a staircase leading down to Deepslate.

Bamboo Mountain Cavern

At the base of this bamboo mountain lies a giant cavern with sections of Lush Cave. The Lush Cave covers the front of the cavern and a few areas in the Deepslate areas. Additionally, a small patch of Deep Dark biome is hidden near the front of the cavern. Java players have a Jungle Temple near this cave to sweeten up the deal.

Lush Hideaway

This Lush Cave is small and cozy compared to many of the larger caves on our list. Its many tunnels are lit up by glow berries, making it the perfect Lush Cave to live in. The entrance is a small ravine, so you must build a safe way in and out. While the glow berries help prevent too many mobs from spawning, be wary as they won't stop Creepers from infiltrating the cave.

Lush Gap

This Lush Cave is hidden beneath the underside of a hill. The start of the cave contains glow berries, moss, clay, and plenty of water covering a staircase-shaped cave. Heading down this staircase leads players to a small drop to the deepslate layer. The glow berries light up the top portion of the cave and make it safer for players to cross. Farm them and plant them in the rest of the cave as natural light sources.

Slim Lush Ravine

A dainty and narrow Lush Cave ravine is the best part of this seed. It contains all of the materials you want from a Lush Cave, plus tons of monsters to farm for experience. If you're not afraid of a fight, this is a good seed to go for.

Lush Dripping Lakebed

There is something magical about Lush Caves with their Spore Flower particle effects, moss, cute axolotls, and tropical fish. Their mysticism is emphasized in this seed through the presence of two lakes spilling water into the cave.
