From giant craters to towering heights and interesting landscapes, I've compiled a list of 10 of the coolest 1.21 mountain seeds available. Dive on in and explore the height of Minecraft's natural wonders.

These ten seeds will leave both Bedrock and Java players reaching maximum build height in no time.

10 - Taiga River Mountains

Seed: -1811330086926571774

This Taiga forest comes with two mountains. The first is a Frozen Peaks Mountain on the right side of the biome and the second is a Jagged Peaks Mountain on the left side. While traveling toward the Frozen Peaks mountain, you'll find a Lush Cave near its base. It's the perfect place to gather resources and experience to take on the mountains with.

9 - Ancient Mountains

Seed: -8221953700483465561

These mountains are large and lush with plenty of structures to explore. All players will find the mountain range itself with an exposed Lush Cave toward the top of one of the mountains on the left. Additionally, Java players will find six Ancient Cities scattered beneath the mountain range. In contrast, Bedrock players will have two Ancient Cities plus three villages and a Pillager Outpost.

8 - Savanna Badlands Mountain

This seed begins on this split mountain. The trees from the Savanna and the nearby Forest biome can be used to craft tools to harvest the ores at the mountain's top. You'll easily find plenty of coal and enough iron to make armor and a set of tools.

7 - Living Among Goats

Seed: 3861092098876439898

Goats make their home on this icy mountain range. Players spawn on a small patch of grass near the larger green crater of the mountain. If you want to go cave-diving for resources, visit either the ravine in the crater or the cavern on the right side of the mountain. Both have pools of water that make it easier for you to jump straight into them.

6 - Lush Dark Forest Mountains

A Dark Forest surrounds the right side of this mountain while Birch Forests surround the left. If you approach the mountain from the Dark Forest, you'll find a Lush Cave. Use bonemeal on the moss to cause it to turn the stone blocks of the mountain into even more moss. You'll quickly transform the mountain into a unique Lush mountain.

5 - Icy Pillager Mountain

This mountain is a marvelous icy wonder. It is surrounded by a large grove filled with Spruce Trees and snow, turning it into a lovely winter scene. Java players will find a Pillager Outpost on the side of the mountain. In contrast, Bedrock players will need to travel underneath it to reach an Ancient City.

4 - Snowy Spruce Start

Spruce trees dot the snowy mountain that this world begins on. Plenty of mineable resources are scattered about the mountain, including an Ancient City hidden within it that only Java players can find. All players will find villages in the nearby biomes. It's a great seed for those wanting to experience life in the wilderness.

3 - Icy Pink Peaks

This seed truly has the best of everything Minecraft has to offer. A Cherry Grove biome filled with deep caverns covers several areas in front of the icy mountain. The icy mountain itself has several giant waterfalls and a large crater filled with even more cherry trees. A second mountain covered in snow and stone lurks in the background, filled with precious ores for anyone willing to traverse it.

2 - Stone Colossus

The Stony Peaks in this seed are gigantic and easily tower over everything around them. There are four of these colossal mountains covering the area around Spawn. Players will spawn directly on top of the first and can choose to remain there or walk over to one of the other three. The second of these mountains will contain a Plains Village in Java edition while Bedrock will have a Plains Village near one of the other mountains.

1 - Mountainous Plains

Seed: 4100221553038534378

Players have to cross a great Plain to uncover these mountains, but the destination is well worth the travel time. The mountain in the center is tall and stony, while the mountain on the right contains a beautiful crater with Forest and Cherry Grove biomes. The area itself contains many caverns, including one large cavern that will get you to Deepslate levels quickly. It's a great seed if you love mountains but also want some biodiversity in their area.
