US-based Kenyan content creator Elsa Majimbo has lamented how she has lost over 200,000 followers after she started flaunting her lavish lifestyle online.
Majimbo said she was not happy to see so many people leave her platform but unapologetically said she was not going to change her life to please others.
Why Elsa Majimbo is losing followers
This comes weeks after she bragged about her desire to end up with a rich man, claiming a broke dude would only be a liability to her.

"You know they say when you escape people's validation, that is when you become truly free. I have lost 200,000 followers in the last few weeks because I have evolved into the person I have always wanted to be. Into the person, you know, just rich, shopping, spa days, country clubs, that is the life I wanted, and that is the life I have built for myself," she said.
Majimbo revealed that she knows how to act and things to say to prevent so many people from unfollowing her but admitted she will not dim her joy to please strangers on the internet.
"People want to see more of a broke girl who I was before. I have never felt so free; I have never felt so alive. I am the happiest I have ever been. And I hate to see so many people go, but if you cannot grow with me, I would rather you leave. I understand that what they signed up for is not what they are getting, I have evolved. Hate to see so many people go but love to be me," she further said.
