A Kenyan man identified as Chris Otwero is happy after marrying the love of his wife, Emmiquer Allyss.
Otwero and Emmiquer tied the knot in a colourful wedding on November 25, 2023, at the Turaco Intercounty Hotel after dating for two years.

"We first met at the church gate, it was drizzling. She was headed for prayers, and I was waiting for a matatu by the roadside. She offered to cover me with her umbrella until the matatu came. We exchanged contacts and became distant friends," he told TUKO.co.ke.
The soft-spoken man revealed they were friends for two years after meeting, disclosing they were both in relationships at that time.
The two became each other's confidants without knowing that one day they would be an item.
Infidelity rocks the couples' relationships
Otwero revealed that one day, Emmiquer's partner introduced his new girlfriend, leaving her surprised.
"He married her two months later and broke up after a year," he revealed.
On the other hand, Otwero's relationship crashed after discovering another man had impregnated his girlfriend.
Otwero and Emmiquer then decided to date after their past relationships failed.
"We decided to date. We dated for two years and sealed our union two weeks ago," he said.

The romantic man revealed he used over KSh 1,000,000 on their wedding preparations.
"Our wedding budget was KSh 600,000. I paid KSh 500,000 for dowry and six cows," he shared.
Man reveals he chased wife for 2 years
In a separate story, a Kenyan couple who identify as The Miranyis on the internet opened up about how they met and given insight into how they do their marriage.
In a coupes show shared on TUKO Extra's YouTube page, the man revealed that when he met his wife, she was in a relationship with someone else.
He also disclosed that he waited for two years while patiently waiting for him to break up with her boyfriend.
"I met this church girl, and I liked her. We exchanged contacts and started talking. I had an interest in her. So one day, I called her home, and she came. I prepared meat for her and had coriander in it. I remember one thing I told her that one day I will marry you, and she told me she was dating and lucky enough, she told me she was dating someone I know," he said.
Miranyi also admitted that because they were in the same mutual groups, he could see his now wife chatting with the boyfriend.
He added that he would date other people, but they were short-term because he was not getting what he wanted.
