Comedian Eric Omondi has shown his generous side by visiting and supporting gospel singer Mwana Mtule, who is stranded in a hospital due to a huge medical bill.
Mtule had appealed to Kenyans on social media to help him clear a Ksh450,000 hospital bill after he had already paid Ksh462,000 from previous donations.
The singer said he was not lying or scamming anyone, but he was genuinely in need of assistance.
He thanked those who had contributed to his treatment and asked them to help him again to avoid accumulating more debt.

Eric decided to visit Mwana Mtule at the hospital and record a video with him.
In the video, which he posted on his Instagram account, the funnyman urged his fans and followers to send any amount of money to the singer's phone number to help him settle the bill.
"This guy has really gone through a lot. Team sisi kwa sisi I am pleading with you to help him. He was discharged about a month ago but he is being held here because of a pending bill of Ksh 450,000," Eric said in the video.
Eric Omondi helps needy people
While in Kisumu in September 2023 for a function, a boda boda rider sought his help.
The rider informed the funnyman that his two daughters were stranded and out of school because of KSh 30,000 fee arrears.
His plight touched Omondi, who visited and supported them financially.
“These girls are his only hope. We managed to take the girls back to school with a little shopping,” he wrote.
That same month, Omondi rushed to the aid of a Kakamega family rendered homeless by the ongoing rains.
