Comedian Eric Omondi has once again shown his generosity and compassion by mobilising his fans to help a fellow artist in need.
Gospel singer Mwana Mtule was allegedly stuck at the Kenyatta hospital due to a huge medical bill.
Omondi took to his social media platforms on Monday to appeal to his loyal followers, whom he calls Team Sisi kwa sisi, to contribute whatever they could to clear the bill and free the singer.
He shared a video of himself visiting Mwana Mtule at the hospital and narrating his plight.

“This guy has really gone through a lot. Team sisi kwa sisi I am pleading with you to help him. He was discharged about a month ago but he is being held here because of a pending bill of Ksh 450,000,” Eric said in his first post.
The comedian also shared the singer’s phone number for those who wanted to send their donations.
He urged his fans to act fast and ensure that Mwana Mtule did not spend another night at the hospital.
His fans responded positively by sending money, and after nine hours, the comedian revealed they had received KSh 370,000 and were just left with KSh 80,000 to meet the target.
He thanked his fans for their kindness and generosity and asked them to keep sending their contributions.
“KSh 70,000 to go! We are at KSh 370,000. He must not spend another night here again. Team sisi kwa sisi we are almost there!!! Keep Sending to,” he wrote.
Omondi’s fans praised him for his initiative.
Eric Omondi raises KSh 600k in 3 hours
Separately, the comedian raised KSh 600, 000 within three hours for a woman who watched helplessly as Nairobi county askaris destroyed her stock.
Omondi, just like many other Kenyans, was dismayed by her photos after the lady was shown weeping as her stock was destroyed before her eyes.
He vowed to change her life totally.
