"A different Jamhuri Day in Mombasa.
Together with Hon. Bady Twalib (Jomvu), Hon. Rashid Bedzimba (Kisauni) and Mombasa County MCAs, we are visiting prisoners in Jela Baridi Mombasa - paying fines and securing the release of petty offenders (driving without license, obstruction, touring without uniform, walking without ID and other similar offences with sentences of less than six months with the option of a fine) to give them a second chance at life," part of his post read.

Pastor Dorcas visits Kiambu Prison inmates

Earlier this year, Kenyans praised Dorcas Rigathi after serving Kiambu Prison inmates food and delivering a motherly speech.

She expressed her heartbrokenness as she spoke tenderly to the men, asking them what they were doing in prison.

"I kept asking myself as a mother, 'What are you doing here? When a mother sees her son here, she even lacks words to say. It is a very sad day for me. I know I wanted to come here, but my heart is broken, and my tears are many. What are you doing here, my sons? You must go home and do the right thing," she said.

Her viral video touched many Kenyans who felt her heart and care as she advised the inmates, giving them hope.
