A young Kenyan lady has inspired many netizens with her amazing saving plan that paid off handsomely.

Caroline Shiko, a budding entrepreneur, shared a video on her Instagram page showing herself opening a metallic saving kit and removing money she had saved throughout the year.

In the video, one could see several notes of different denominations and coins on the ground splashed from the kit.

How did she move from bad spender to saving KSh 207k?

Caroline said that she used to be a very bad spender who would buy things impulsively without thinking of the consequences.

She said that in 2022, a friend of hers warned her against her wasteful habits and advised her to buy a savings kit and start putting money in it.

She followed the advice and managed to save around KSh 150,000 in 2022.

She continued with the same plan in 2023 and was pleasantly surprised to find out that she had saved KSh 207,000.

She said that she had not counted the coins yet, which could add up to a significant amount.

"To my fellow bebs and young entrepreneurs, how are your financial disciplines? We have started the year today, you need to challenge yourself. You can buy a kit like this and start saving. Those who have the habit of impulse buying; I used to be a very bad spender.
I used to do impulse buying not until 2022 when I friend of mine warned me against it. I went I bought a kit like this one and in 2022, I managed to save around KSh 150,000. This is 2023 and upon counting, I have found KSh 207,000. Those are notes, I have not counted the coins. This is a challenge. I'm happy my 2023 has ended well," she said in the video.

How did Mulamwah save KSh 365k in year?

In a separate story, on Monday, December 25, 2023, Mulamwah displayed the amount they saved in 2023 after breaking his home bank.

The comedian shared a video online that was reshared on Nairobi Gosspi's Facebook page breaking his wooded home bank.

Mulamwah hit the small wooded box that had notes inside until the upper part broke into small pieces.

He then poured the notes on the floor as he shared that he was saving KSh 1000 daily for the whole year.
