The 28-year-old Kenyan woman has allegedly lost her house, which cost her nearly KSh 4.2 million to construct.

Francie noted that she had allegedly done her due diligence when purchasing the land from the Ministry of Lands.
"Dear president, I am 28 years old and an orphan. Where I stand is the remnants of my house. So I went to the Ministry of Lands Kenya and did my research, and then I bought this land. Please call me into the state house so that we can talk and you can wipe away my tears. I don't have somewhere to live. I recently moved into a bedsitter.."

In 2023, gospel singer Lady Bee shared a video showing how her house was demolished in Mavoko, in Machakos county.
