Charlene Ruto, the daughter of President William Ruto, visited Owen's family for what sources suggested was an "introduction ceremony" in December 2023.

According to reports, the meeting was not just a casual encounter; it included a grand ceremony in Eshieywe village within Kakamega County.

Charlene, accompanied by a substantial security contingent, was seen enjoying the occasion, dancing to Luhya songs in a vibrant red dress.

Owen, the award-winning gospel star, was present in a brown and black designer shirt, donning a black hat.

Despite the relatively low-key affair attended mostly by Owen's family, a few select celebrities graced the ceremony, including Owen's siblings and Charlene's close friends.

Are Charlene Ruto and Owen's dating?

The musician took to his X account to share images of the lovely event confirming Charlene's 2023 visit to his home.

Most in the comment section queried whether it was an introduction ceremony after noting that the "village was happy."

He has yet to answer whether he and the president's daughter are involved romantically.

Owen also noted that the visit in December 2023 was the pinnacle of his year.

"2023 was a good year! I thank God. I had so many highlights, but the climax, the pinnacle, and the crowning moment came at the tail end of the year when @charlruto visited my home in Eshieywe a.k.a Kakamega.

We celebrated with songs, dance and ululations! Abhashiere came with their best dancing shoes to whirl to the real isikuti made from the tough "imbulu" skin. We ate various Abhatsotso tradition delicacies from "amakwakwata" to "lhisebhebhe." Ebhusang'ang'a village was HAPPY, my mum was HAPPY, she loves guests.. and the guests were happy as well! Owen's rumoured girlfriend denies claims they are dating

Previously, the gospel singer's rumoured sweetheart, Eve Maina, vehemently denied being in a relationship with the musician.

The beautiful Eve categorically stated she had clarified her relationship, insisting she was not dating Daddy Owen.

Maina was responding to a Twitter user who questioned the level of her relationship with the singer.

She responded to a query and wrote:
