Kenyan lawyer Willis Otieno, known for singing the Piki Piki Ponki nursery rhyme in court, has released a new gospel song.

Willis went viral during the presidential election petition by Azimio La Umoja in 2022.
This was because, during the hearing, Otieno sang the words of the childhood rhyme Piki Piki Ponki.

He questioned the legitimacy of the electoral process, likening it to a child's game.
“We’ve reduced our elections to childhood games of piki piki ponki, paka mielo disco” he said before he was quickly stopped by judges.
The light courtroom moment thrust Otieno into the spotlight.
Willis Otieno releases new song
Now, Otieno alias Gospel Dynamite, has dropped a Gospel song in conjunction with a female artiste, Lady Magdalina.
The song, titled Mitoka, basically talks about the fragility of human life, urging people not to hold onto worldly possessions like cars and bungalows.
Otieno says in the song that when one dies, they will not be buried with their possessions.
Therefore, he urges them to focus on God and their faith.

Willis Otieno releases Paka Mielo Disco song
Notably, this is not Otieno's first song, he has several other songs such as Victory Dance, Kuon Chapaat, God First, and Chung' Mallo among others.
However, his most notable song is Paka Mielo Disco, which was a nod to his nursery rhyme courtroom shenanigans.
The law practitioner collaborated with comedian Eric Omondi on the song. that was released in February.
The comedian shared a snippet of the song online, announcing that Otieno had written and directed it.
The song, produced by Jegede, featured a group of choir members wearing an all-white uniform.
The chorus featured Otieno's viral phrase woven into a harmonious melody.
