South African-based Ugandan entrepreneur and socialite Zari Hassan, has taken to social media to celebrate the birthday of two special people in her life: her husband, Shakib Lutaaya, and her son, Prince Nillan.

The two share the same birthday, which makes it a double celebration for Zari.

The businesswoman posted a photo of Shakib and Nillan on her Instagram page, where they looked sharp in matching suits.

In her caption, she expressed her love and appreciation for them and prayed that God would grant them their wishes.

“Help me wish a happy birthday to my husband and son. May the Almighty make all your wishes come true,” she captioned the photo.

Zari’s fans and followers joined her in wishing the birthday boys a happy birthday and complimented them on their outfits.

Zari and Shakib have been dating for over a year now.

The socialite has five children from her previous relationships: three with the late Ivan Ssemwanga and two with Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz.

Zari has been open about her relationship with Shakib.

Separately, the 31-year-old Ugandan, who has been criticised heavily for dating a woman older than him, shared photos enjoying a meal with Zari and others in bed together, affirming his love for her.

"Two hearts turned to one," he captioned the photos.

Shakib's message can be likened to the biblical verse, which says, "And two shall become one flesh" (Mark 10:8-10).

His caption left fans guessing whether the two had tied the knot or made some sort of covenant.

Zari has also been wearing a customised chain bearing Shakib's name to affirm her love for him.

The 42-year-old socialite responded with a red love heart, referring to him as King K.
