Exploring the Natlan Map and Landscape

Natlan is going to be a bio-diverse area, showcasing volcanos, cliffs, rivers, grasslands, and forests in both the teasers. A recent leak reveals that the tribes of Natlan are not distributed horizontally, but vertically. This suggests a unique exploration experience, as players will encounter variability in land structure.

Moreover, the Natlan map in 5.0 is expected to be as big as the Sumeru map in version 3.1. The teasers hint at a broken landscape, requiring players to navigate through diverse terrains.

Traversal Mechanic in Natlan

The leak also mentions Volcanic Steam cannons, which will be used to travel long distances. Additionally, we saw multiple showcases of characters traversing Natlan on Saurians or mounts. It remains to be seen whether the game will introduce actual mounts for all characters or if it will be unique to Natlan characters.

Upcoming Characters in Genshin Impact 5.0

The characters are the core part of Genshin Impact, and players are highly anticipating the upcoming Natlan characters. Three of them are confirmed to feature in the Genshin 5.0 banner — Kachina, Kinich, and Mualani.

Mualani is a 5-star hydro catalyst user, Kinich is a Dendro Claymore user, and Kachina is a Geo Polearm user. Their unique abilities are highly awaited by the community.

From the leaks, we also get a sneak peek at what to expect in the upcoming storyline from Genshin Impact 5.0. According to Seele leaks, the story progression will be:

  • Natlan > Snezhnaya > Rebellion > Celestia > Post Teyvat story

This indicates that Natlan’s chapters will transition the storyline toward the endgame, setting the stage for future developments in the Genshin universe.

Enemies and Monsters in Natlan

Genshin Impact teasers have revealed 7 new Saurians, which are the new monsters in Natlan, alongside three new humanoid enemy types. The introduction of the Saurian Indwelling feature will allow players to transform into different Saurians, enhancing the gameplay experience.

Among the humanoid enemies, we have a big grunt wielding a large saw and normal-sized male and female grunts wielding clubs. All three humanoid enemies wear spiked helmets and similar patterned costumes, adding to the distinctive aesthetic of the Natlan region.

The excitement surrounding Genshin Impact 5.0 is palpable, and the community eagerly awaits the new features, characters, and storylines that will unfold in Natlan. Make sure to stay tuned for updates as we continue to gather more information!
