CookieRun Kingdom October 2024 Update Patch Notes: Beast Raid, New Icing Theme, And More

CookieRun: Kingdom has recently revealed its upcoming update and it is packed with cool stuff. This update is set to go live on October 16, 2024, and will bring a new Beast Raid: Avatar of Ruin.

Not only that, this update will also feature a new icing theme where you can collect the ‘Great Destroyer’ items by playing Beast Raid mode and events. For more details, here are the patch notes.

Beast Raid: Avatar of Ruin

Overview

• The great Avatar of Ruin has appeared, clad in iron and ready to destroy the Cookie World.
• Defeat the new boss in Beast Raid!
• Clear Crispia, Stage 8-30, to unlock Beast Raid.
• Fight the Avatar of Ruin and claim rewards!

Beast Raid Details

• Beast Raid is a time-limited battle mode.
• You can enter Beast Raid using Beast Raid Tickets.
• Beast Raid has 5 difficulty stages:
  • Easy
  • Normal
  • Hard
  • Expert
  • Master (will be added in a separate update)
• Difficulty stages can be selected without restrictions; default is Normal.
• Master difficulty can be unlocked by clearing Expert.

Battle Mechanics

• Beast Raid is divided into 3 stages using 3 Cookie decks.
• Stages change depending on the boss’s HP.
• Avatar of Ruin wears armor; destroy body parts to stagger and increase damage dealt.
• You can target specific body parts for greater damage.
• After one leg is destroyed, the boss deals increased damage until the other leg is destroyed.
• Avatar’s right leg is vulnerable to Water damage; left leg to Earth damage. Other types will be partially ignored.
• Phase 2 begins after dealing enough damage, making the boss grow more powerful and inflict Burn periodically.

Scoring and Rewards

• Rank is determined by points earned in battle; season rewards are based on rank.
• Final score is recorded until defeat; claim a portion of Stage rewards.
• Rewards include Rank rewards, Stage rewards, and Special Mission rewards.
• Purchase items in the Beast Raid Shop using Destruction Coins.

Beast Raid Shop

• Great Destroyer Icings are available for purchase.
  • Can be purchased once; displayed as “Sold Out” afterward.
• Remaining Destruction Coins convert to Coins, delivered via in-game mailbox after season ends.

Missions

• Clear missions to earn mission points for Beast Raid Mission rewards.
  • There are 5 mission rewards; remaining points convert to Coins once the season ends.

Team Ideas Feature

• Recommends Cookies and Treasures to defeat the Beast Raid boss.
• If you lack recommended Cookies or Treasures, their spaces will remain empty.

New Icing Theme

• New icing theme, “The Great Destroyer,” added.
• Claim the new icing set by participating in events and Beast Raid.
• Beast Raid Shop items:
  • Hair: Disheveled Hair
  • Face: Crown of the Great Destroyer
• Beast Raid Missions:
  • Gear: Battle Axe of Fire & Jam

    • Eternal Flames (Expert clear reward)

Miner Cheesebird’s Virtual Mine Exploration

• Explore the Virtual Mine to dig up various rewards and Nutmeg Tiger Cookie’s Soulstones.

Mining Mechanics

• Mine rocks using tools to obtain various rewards.
• There are 65 floors; deeper levels yield more Soulstones.
• Mining equipment can weaken rocks; they are destroyed when density reaches 0.

Mining Tools

• 8-bit Pickaxe: Select and destroy a rock within one-tile range.
• 8-bit Choco Bomb: Destroys a rock and surrounding ones within one-tile range.
• 8-bit Cherry Bomb: Destroys a line of rocks within one-tile range.
• 8-bit Rocket Firecracker: Destroys any rock and surrounding ones.
• 8-bit Horizontal Firecracker: Destroys a horizontal line of rocks.
• 8-bit Vertical Firecracker: Destroys a vertical line of rocks.
• 8-bit Detection Radar: Detects hidden treasures.

Chests

• Claim Nutmeg Tiger Cookie’s Soulstones from Golden Chests on each floor.
• If Cookie is unavailable, it converts to Epic Soul Essence and Mileage Points.
• Regular Chests provide items like mining tools, Rainbow Cubes, and Crystals.

• New costumes for Sorbet Shark Cookie and Peppermint Cookie:

• New Legendary costume for Black Pearl Cookie:

New Magic Candy

• Peppermint Cookie gains a new Magic Candy: Refreshing Waves.
  • Dispels Burn from allies and casts an HP Shield.
  • Water-type Cookies receive amplified effects and extra damage to monsters.
