Getting better rods in the Roblox Fisch experience is the key to reeling valuable fish. The Magma Rod, in particular, is one of the best in the game, with lava resistance and decreased lure speed. However, learning where to get one is the tricky part.

Where to find the Magma Rod in Fisch Roblox

Unlocking the Magma Rod in Fisch requires traveling to Roslit Bay, finding the Orc NPC, and getting them a pufferfish. Obtaining a pufferfish requires obtaining seaweed bait, making it a tricky catch if you’re new to the game. Giving the Orc a pufferfish rewards you with the Magma Rod automatically, allowing you to use it early on if you get your hands on some bait.

How to find Roslit Bay in Fisch

Your first step is arriving in Roslit Bay. If you’re at Moosewood, you’ll need a boat to travel across the ocean. The cheapest costs 700 C$ and requires completing the tutorial.

If you already have a ship or have enough money to buy one, head to the Shipwright NPC, spawn in a boat and travel forward until you see a Roslit Bay marker. Follow the arrow until you see a lighthouse before parking your boat and stepping on its land.

Magma Rod Orc location

Once you arrive in Roslit Bay, your goal is to travel through a volcano to find the Orc NPC. The easiest way to get here is to go past the Lighthouse and run straight for the massive stone mountain. As you follow the grassy path, you’ll spot a campfire and tent with the volcano’s entrance to your right.

After entering the volcano, head forward through the hole in the wall and walk straight down the path until you see red and brown objects blocking your way. While these may look like an obstacle, you can walk right through them, arriving on the other side of the volcano. Turn right to find a tent and the Orc NPC leaning against the wall.

How to catch a Pufferfish in Fisch

Upon talking to the Orc, they’ll tell you they want a fish that can grow in size. Your character realizes the Orc wants a pufferfish and offers to find one. You can find pufferfish by fishing at Roslit Bay after obtaining Seaweed bait during the Summer season. It’s a rare fish, so don’t be too surprised if it takes a few attempts, even with this bait.

Once you get the pufferfish, return to the Orc to get your Magma Rod and unlock the ability to fish in lava.
