The TikToker splashed over KSh 460,000 on her flight ticket from Australia to England, where her ex lived.
"I travelled over 16,000 kilometres to surprise my ex while we were in no contact (for four months) to stay at his [home] for a whole month," she shared, as reported by New York Post.
Jumping on lover, locking lips
Upon arrival, her shirtless ex-bae could not believe his eyes as he returned to the house in shock.
Tamika followed him behind, and when she came close to her tall ex, she jumped on him and locked lips.
"It felt like a movie. It didn’t feel real to me. For the whole afternoon, he couldn’t stop touching me. He thought it wasn’t real and thought he was in a fever dream," she added.
Following music career after three years in love
Tamika noted she had separated from her ex, who was following his music career and did not think a long-distance relationship would work.
The lovebirds had been together for three years before the unfortunate events that saw them go their separate ways.
“We are now back together,” she confirmed, and plans to move to Brighton in February 2024 to be closer to her boyfriend.
Lovers reunite after three decades
In a similar story, a couple reunited 31 years after a breakup and began their love journey for the second time.
Kate Pymm from England and Guenther Baer from Germany met in Devon, England, in 1989 and hit it off, as reported by BBC News.
Pymm was with her mum and best friend while Baer was in England so that he could improve his English.
The two wrote each other letters for two years before Pymm called it off and started her make-up business, and Baer married someone else.
The couple reunited 31 years later, and Pymm was moving to Germany to spend forever with the love of her life.
