Nairobi - The Kenyatta National Hospital has warned against an advertisement alleging it was conducting a recruitment exercise for 1,446 positions.
In a statement, KNH asked members of the public to be aware of the fake employment advertisement circulating on social media.
Why you should not apply for trending KNH jobs
According to KNH, the job advertisement was made to defraud innocent Kenyans using KNH's name.

"Scam Alert! Please beware of the FAKE employment ad circulating on social media. Don't be a victim of online scamming," KNH said.
The viral advertisement alleged that KNH had vacancies for registered nurses, medical assistants, morticians, drivers, security guards, and social workers, among others.
The fake advertisement also provided specific criteria for the application for the alleged jobs, including the deadline for the application.
When is the deadline for 186 ODPP jobs?
Elsewhere, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) announced various vacancies as a way of strengthening the office's prosecutorial role.
DPP Renson Ingonga, on Tuesday, December 5, said the 186 vacancies are meant to promote the purpose and object of his office.
"Pursuant to Section 13 (2) of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions Act No. z of 2013, the Office shall have the power to appoint, control and supervise its staff in a manner and for such purposes as may be necessary for the promotion of the purpose and the object for which the Office is established. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the under-listed vacancies," a statement by DPP read in part.
People living with disabilities and those from marginalised areas were encouraged to apply for the advertised jobs.
