Nairobi Woman Says Mum Vanished 15 Years Ago While Going To Market: "She Never Returned"

Nairobi - A beautiful young lady has narrated her mother's sudden disappearance without a trace.

Nancy Bosibori said she had not seen or communicated with her biological mother for over a decade.

She said she vanished in 2008 when she left home one early morning but never returned or communicated.

How woman disappeared 15 years ago

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Bosibori rolled back the curtains of memories on the last day she heard from her mum.

"It was early in the morning when my mother knocked on my bedroom door before she left for the market. She usually went to the market around that time as a businesswoman. I was still sleeping when she knocked on my door and told me to wake up and make breakfast for my young siblings and father.

I did not bother to wake to look at what she was wearing or carrying because it was normal for her to leave the house then," she said.

Searching neighbourhood for missing woman

The mother of one said her mother did not return home that evening, but they never reported the matter to the police until the next day.

They had searched the neighbourhood and made a few phone calls enquiring about her whereabouts, but their efforts were unfruitful.

"I even thought she had gone back to her parents' home because of her disagreements with my dad but when I went to look for her, she was not there. Since she disappeared, there has been no communication of any form or kind. We do not know if she is alive or dead. Her phone is also off," the 32-year-old lady from Nairobi added.

Turbo family searching for missing woman

In a similar story, a Turbo family searched for their mum, who disappeared in 2018.

It had been five years since 59-year-old Mary Nyangasi Sabwa left her home in Turbo and disappeared into thin air.

Since then, her children have been through years of emotional turmoil, with dwindling hope and unanswered questions.

For this reason, they pleaded with members of the public to help them reunite with the missing woman.
