Not many people who go abroad change their accents, but Reverend Victor Githu is not one of them.
Social media users have noted the young man has a different accent since he moved to the US.
Failure is not the end, Victor
The powerful preacher delivered an encouraging message to his followers on TikTok when netizens noted the change in accent.

Victor was talking about failure and how no one should ever let failure determine their life course.
"One thing that I have learned is that failure is not the end but the beginning of something else. And maybe I failed. And maybe, yes, I did not do well. Maybe that will not work. Or maybe that relationship didn't work out. Maybe that business didn't work out for me. But that shows me that maybe that did not work because there are other better plans for me," he preached.
Born with purpose
The young pastor noted everyone was born with and for a purpose, and just because they failed once did not mean they could not do better.
He charged his followers not to give up quickly after they encountered challenges or opposition in what they did.
"It's just the beginning of something else. You can either let it become an end or a beginning of something else. You learnt your lesson. You understood what was wrong, and now you can fix it. You're able to stand strong. We know you're capable of great things. There was a season, and this is a new season," Victor shared.
Kenyans appreciated his sermon, saying it was timely, while others pointed out his foreign accent, saying it seemed natural.
Enjoying life in US
Earlier this year, the all-grown preacher was spotted enjoying life in the US.
The well-spoken young man admitted that he loved living abroad and addressed the source of his unique accent.
“I like the place, it is really amazing. Nice weather. We have great neighbours. To God be the glory," he said with a foreign accent.
Many Kenyans online wished blessings upon Victor, as many observed that he had grown quite tall.
